OpTic are through to the playoffs at the FACEIT Major Europe Minor after defeating ENCE 16-13 on Train.
The clash began with OpTic winning the CT pistol round with a double and a triple-kill from René "cajunb" Borg and Nicklas "gade" Gade, respectively. After following that up with the anti-ecos, the Danes kept demolishing ENCE, who were helpless in finding a way through the defence.
Although ENCE were only able to get their first round on the board at 1-7, it inspired them to lose just one of the next four rounds to reduce the gap to 4-8. Both teams then traded rounds back-to-back, meaning OpTic switched sides with a five-round lead, 10-5.

Now playing as CTs, ENCE started off the second half on the right foot, winning the pistol thanks to a 2v4 clutch from Sami "xseveN" Laasanen and Jani "Aerial" Jussila, and the subsequent anti-eco. OpTic then strung two rounds together, but the Finnish side responded with a great force-buy that marked the start of a three-round streak, making it 10-12.
However, as Jakob "JUGi" Hansen picked up the 13th round for his team by denying a 1v2 clutch from Jere "sergej" Salo, OpTic went on to hit match-point without much effort. ENCE still responded with three more rounds, but it was in vain as OpTic remained calm and collected to finish things off 16-13.
